Chrome Icon Black And White. I tried pin it to taskbar and then opened it,the black screen turned normal. Right mouse click on said icon and left click on properties.

When i open my web browser, the screen is black and white. Finally i restarted my computer and clicked on the google chrome icon on my taskbar to see how google chrome web browser would behave and it turned out to solve the black screen issue for me as the browser windows could now display just like new. My computer’s display turns black and white.

In recent google chrome browser version 68 update new background color scheme was introduced for the start menu pinned icon. These certificates allow you to distinguish between a valid site and an invalid one. If you want, you may pin this icon to the taskbar. Or if anyone has some thing i can install to.
